Andrew Hernández Sepúlveda

Born in Pennsylvania New Town Saints Mary’s Hospital in January 20, 1989. He obtains the skills and abilities of working as a cinematographer, video editor, director and producer, making independent short films with a message that is different and unique.

Has an Associate Degree on Electronic Engineering Technology from the Technological Institute of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor’s Degree on Digital Cinematography in Atlantic University College where he got awarded with the medal “Coronel Ramón Baroquín” for giving loyalty and support.

Directs and produces he’s own projects in he’s independent production film company named Luminne Productions. It specializes in positive films and documentaries.

Works in Atlantic University College as the Special Film Projects Supervisor and a Professor. Being part of the Creative Team he produces the University’s films, commercials and help students to develop their film projects.

Some of he’s films and achievements in international film festivals are:

Short Film “Punto de Encuentro” 2013 winning Enfoque Film Fest PR (Best National Short film) and Concurso Taboas PR (Best Audience Choice), La Romana International Film Fest Republica Dominicana (Best International Short Film).

Short Documentary “Legend Surf Classics Puerto Rico” 2014 winning Rincon International Film Festival PR (Dir. Choice Best Short Documentary) and Cine Campus Film Festival PR (Best Short Documentary).

Short Film “Persuadido” 2014 winning Enfoque Film Fest PR (Best Director and Best Script).

Short Film “Juego de Rol” 2016 winning Cine Campus Film Festival PR (Best Editing) and Rincon International Film Festival PR (Best Fiction).

Commercial “Gladiadores de la Innovación” 2016 Sun Coast Emmy Official Selection

He’s now developing a feature film for 2018.
